The phrase "Brought to you by Steve LeBlanc" just happens to be the author field in Properties.
the { $ . Tagline$} just happens to be the author field in Properties.
- Nope, I was mistaken. Tagline is one of the variables under View/Variables. I notice that he writes it: View >> Variables. Hmmm. Is that an easier convention?
- FTP Error: Couldn't put file: The server returned extended information OK. Corrected by turning OFF Passive Mode for firewall, even though I have a firewall. What I can't figure out is why this part of my page does NOT show up. Hmm. Oh, I see, I have to save each article before Preview or Publish. Just my Notes
- If my files are in the root of my site, the directory of / is optional.
- Hey, Billy, look it is working!
- Ctrl+Z or Edit » Undo to undo it. If you undid too much, use Ctrl+Y to redo what you just undid. No Edit >> Redo command. Gotta remember. Also note that Edit >> Paste Without Formatting has NO Right Click equivalent.
- I'm not sure why the Teaser for this article does NOT show up on the index page.
Steve LeBlanc is just wondering if this will work.
